Biblical Counselor Training

PRBC is excited to offer a Care & Discipleship Training course (produced by IBCD.org), beginning Sunday, January 8th at 2:30 p.m.  This Care & Discipleship Course is free and open to the public, and is designed to help churches develop one-another care in the life of their congregations by providing Biblical answers to relationships, counseling, and much more:

Care & Discipleship Training is designed for people who have a passion to see believers equipped to disciple and counsel one another with the Word of God.  Whether you are an individual seeking to better equip yourself to serve the body, a church leader looking for a way to train up members of your congregation, or a group of people with a vision to cultivate an atmosphere of one-another care in your own local church, this course will be a valuable tool for you.

Level One of the CDC Training Course is designed to develop an understanding of how the sufficiency of Scripture impacts one's view of life's struggles, especially in relation to psychology.  It also explores the general principles involved in Biblical counseling and how to practically apply them in specific situations including anger, conflict, depression, fear, and temptation.

The CDC course is free and open to the public and begins Sunday, January 8th at 2:30 p.m.  Student handbooks are available for a donation of $20.  CDC training meets the instruction requirement towards the biblical counseling certification through The Association of Certified Biblical Counselors (ACBC), formerly the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC).
